400 people evacuated from Hilton Hotel after the helicopter crashed rooftop. A pilot died in a crash after he hijacked one of his own company’s helicopters and crashed into the rooftop of a DoubleTree Hilton hotel in Australia. He was attending a party few hours before the crash company said.

The incident took place on Monday morning in the famous tourist place of Australia named as City of Cairns. Died person in crash was the employee of the Nautilus Aviation. He has helicopter pilot licence in New Zealand but was not authorize to fly to Australia. Company said he was also drinking before hijacking the helicopter he managed to steal from the company premises.

More than 400 Persons were evacuated from the Hilton hotel after the helicopter crash and it was all smoke and alarms ringing everywhere. Couple of tourists were evacuated and sent directly to the hospital. Also the company said Few Hours before the crash, employees of Nautilus Aviation had thrown a farewell party for the man, celebrating his promotion to a ground crew position at another one of the company bases. Helicopter company also confirmed that it was not a company operation it was co-ordinated with friends.

Victims and witnesses told the media that they heard the zip sound of helicopter twice before the crash as it was flying to low. Multiple Media houses of Australia said that the person who hijacked the helicopter and crashed it was 23 year old Mike wilson and was the solo pilot at the time of crash but officials from the police authorities have denied to release any kind of information.

Hotel premises were cleared by the Monday night and police is conducting the investigation. Investigators believe the helicopter was stolen from Nautilus’s hangar at Cairns Airport, about five kilometres away from the Hilton hotel.

Nautilus Aviation wrote that it offers its “heartfelt condolences to the individual’s family and all who have been affected by this tragedy and continue to offer our support to our employees during this very challenging period.”

“We will continue to work very closely with QPS and the ATSB as they investigate the circumstances surrounding the incident.”
